Welcome to Neon Sky! This Privacy Policy explains how Will Zettler (Neon Sky Android Dev) handles your information across our suite of mobile applications. Your privacy is a priority, and our apps are designed to collect as little personal data as possible.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not require you to provide personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, physical address, email address, or phone number to use the core features of our applications. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It

To provide a high-quality experience, our apps may process the following types of data:

• User Preferences & Local Data: We store your settings (such as font sizes, theme colors, alarm times, and app configurations) and progress (such as high scores or unlocked content) locally on your device. This data is stored using standard Android methods (Jetpack DataStore, Room, or SharedPreferences).

• Technical Log Data (Anonymous): In the event of an app crash or error, anonymous technical data is collected via the Google Play Console or Firebase Crashlytics. This includes your device model, OS version, and the time of the error. We use this strictly for debugging and improving app stability.

• Cloud Progress & Backup: If you have "Google Backup" enabled on your device, your app settings may be stored in an encrypted format in your personal Google Drive (Android Auto Backup). This allows you to restore your settings when you switch devices.

• Hardware Diagnostics: To provide system information, we process device-specific data including battery health, CPU load, and sensor outputs. This data is used solely for display within the app and is not transmitted to our servers.

3. Permissions

Our apps only request the permissions necessary to function. For example:

• Alarms & Reminders: Used to trigger notifications for clocks and timers.

• Notifications: Used to alert you of active features or reminders.

• Internet Access: Used for license verification and communicating with public developer APIs for assets or data feeds (e.g., theme presets).

• Location & Network State: Used to identify your Wi-Fi SSID and provide detailed network diagnostics. While we request location permissions as required by Android to access Wi-Fi information, we do not track your physical location or store your movement history.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to handle specific app functions:

• Google Play Services: Used for app distribution, system stability, and security.

• Google Play Billing: All financial transactions are handled securely by Google. We never see or store your credit card or banking information.

• Social Media & External Links: Our apps may contain links to our official YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook pages. These external sites have their own privacy policies.

• Advertising: This app uses Google AdMob to serve advertisements. These third-party vendors may use cookies and web beacons to collect information as a result of ad serving. You can find AdMob’s privacy policy here: https://policies.google.com/privacy

• Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use anonymous identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to show relevant ads and for fraud prevention. You can manage your ad preferences in your device's Google Settings.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our apps are generally intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it immediately.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Most data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the application will typically delete all locally stored data. For any data stored via Google Backup, you can manage this through your Google Account settings.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

8. Hardware Information

Device & Hardware Information: Our app accesses detailed hardware specifications (CPU, Sensors, Battery status, etc.) to display them to you. This information is processed locally on your device and is only shared externally if you explicitly choose to use the "Share Report" or "Export" features.
