Dr. Horsepower Pro - Supplemental Policy
1. Vehicle Data Collection: Dr. Horsepower Pro connects to your vehicle’s On-Board Diagnostics (OBD-II) system via Bluetooth. The app collects real-time telemetry including, but not limited to: Engine RPM, Vehicle Speed, Fuel Levels, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), and the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
Advertising and Third-Party Services To support the development of Dr. Horsepower Pro, we use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. These third-party services may collect information used to identify you.
Information Collected by Ad Networks The Google AdMob SDK used in this app may collect:
Advertising ID (AAID): Used to personalize ads and for frequency capping.
Device Information: Such as your device model, OS version, and connection type.
Interaction Data: Information on how you interact with the ads shown.
Rewarded Advertisements This app offers "PRO" features that can be unlocked for a period of 2 hours by voluntarily watching a rewarded video advertisement. This is an opt-in experience; users who do not wish to watch ads may continue to use the standard features of the app without interruption.

2. Purpose of Data Use
Diagnostics: To provide real-time gauges, health scoring, and fault code analysis.
Vehicle Identification: The VIN is used solely to identify the vehicle profile, engine displacement, and to provide manufacturer-specific diagnostic commands.
Logging: Data is saved locally in CSV format and as screenshots in your device's "Documents" folder for your personal record and shop analysis.
3. Data Privacy & Storage
Local-Only Storage: All vehicle telemetry, logs, and VIN data are stored strictly on your mobile device.
No Cloud Uploads: Neon Sky does not maintain a central database of your vehicle data. We do not sell, trade, or upload your driving history to any external servers.
4. Required Permissions
Location: Used exclusively for Bluetooth Scanning to discover and pair with OBD-II adapters. We do not track or store your physical location.
Foreground Service: Used to maintain a persistent, stable connection to the vehicle adapter during driving sessions, ensuring automated data logging is not interrupted by the system.
Storage: Used to save your generated PDF Health Reports, CSV logs, and automated screenshots.
